The G40 Gen4 in the MOS Configuration is chambered in 10mm and combines a full 6-inch barrel for an improved velocity with a magazine capacity of 10 rounds.  Obtaining the greatest accuracy for target shooting was the main reason for the development of the GLOCK G40 which has an extended barrel, greater slide dimensions, and unmatched reliability in a 10mm pistol.  Complete with 3 magazines.  This is a RESTRICTED firearm requiring an RPAL to purchase.

Reliability and simplicity of use have made GLOCK® pistols a favored sidearm all over the world. The GLOCK G40 Gen4 MOS Semi-Auto Pistol is designed as a serious competition handgun. The G40 shoots the powerful 10mm cartridge. The long slide reduces muzzle flip considerably to keep the user on target during rapid fire, and also increases sight radius. The G40 Gen4 MOS comes from the factory with a Modular Optic System milled into the top of the slide for mounting aftermarket reflex and red dot sights. The MOS slide comes with a removable cover plate that fills the milled out area, and 4 brand-specific adapter plates and a hex wrench. The pistol also has a white dot front sight, and an adjustable white outline rear sight. A modular back strap allows shooters to instantly customize the grip to an individual shooter’s hand size, or to cold weather gloves. The polymer frame utilizes GLOCK’s Rough Texture to provide a sure hold on the pistol in adverse conditions, and the enlarged magazine catch is reversible, accommodating left or right-handed shooters. An integral accessory rail in front of the trigger guard allows for the attachment of a plethora of aftermarket tactical flashlights or laser sights. The GLOCK G40 Gen4 MOS Semi-Auto Pistol is an ultra-reliable, accurate and extremely controllable handgun, making it an ideal choice for outdoorsmen and competitors alike. Modular Back Strap System

The smallest back strap is integrated in the GLOCK MBS frame reducing the trigger distance of the standard size frame by approximately .08 in. The medium back strap adds approximately .08 in. – equaling the size of a standard frame – and the large back strap increases trigger distance by a total of approximately .16 in.

Enlarged Reversible Magazine Catch

The magazine release catch of the Gen4 is reversible and enlarged. The reversible magazine catch allows users to switch the catch to the left or right side of the pistol with no additional parts.

Dual Recoil Spring Assembly

Internally, the original recoil spring has been replaced with a dual recoil spring assembly. The dual recoil spring assembly noticeably reduces the felt recoil while simultaneously increasing the life span of the assembly.

Rough Textured Frame

Additionally, the Gen4 has a new Rough Textured Frame (RTF) surface designed to enhance grip traction and is present on the frame as well as the interchangeable back straps.
